About PinchPack
PinchPack is developed by Open by Pinching AB, a small team based on Sweden’s west coast. We work close to the product, close to each other, and close to the people who will actually use what we build.
Our focus is simple. To create single-serve packaging that feels natural to use and reliable in everyday situations.
How it started
The idea behind PinchPack grew from a very practical question. Why does so much single-serve packaging feel harder to open than it should?
We began exploring how a package could guide the user naturally, without force or uncertainty. Through sketches, prototypes and real testing, one interaction kept proving itself. A controlled pinch that opens the package in a predictable way.
That interaction became the foundation of PinchPack.
Built by people
PinchPack is led by a father and son team. We combine hands-on product thinking with engineering experience, and we prefer solving problems by building, testing and refining rather than talking around them.
We believe good products come from curiosity, patience and respect for real use cases. That mindset shapes everything we do.
Designed with responsibility
Sustainability is not a separate feature for us. It is part of the design process from the start.
We aim for fewer components, clear functionality and material choices that make sense both for production and for the end user. Simplicity is often the most responsible solution.
Made in Sweden
Development and assembly take place in Sweden. Being based here allows us to stay close to quality, iteration and decision-making throughout the process.
Scandinavian design is often associated with clarity and restraint. Those values are important to us, not as a style, but as a way of working.
